We have a dedicated team of attorneys ready to fight for your rights.

Over the years, the South Florida Police Benevolent Association (SFLPBA) has put together an incredibly powerful legal team, growing from one in-house counsel in 1984 to today’s dedicated team of six, in-house attorneys. These six attorneys have a career history of successfully fighting for officer’s rights, and they are dedicated exclusively to our SFLPBA membership.

In addition to that, we are associated with 20 law firms, all specializing in different areas of law and with different backgrounds: from past Supreme Court Justices, local judges and prosecutors, to civil attorneys, labor law pioneers and individuals that have been advocating for law enforcement officers their entire career.

Our attorneys have created law, won countless cases and represented our members in every legal forum. Whether it’s in collective bargaining, in trial or appellate court, through arbitration or even at the scene of a crime, our SFLPBA attorneys are—first and foremost—here for our members.

One of the benefits of being represented by the SFLPBA is that all members get immediate, 24/7 access to our team of attorneys, as soon as they need it. Members are not required to go through an approval panel before accessing our legal team. For more information about these services, please read our Legal Assistance Program.
