It is that time of year to make plans to join us for Dade County Police Benevolent Association’s 26th Annual Law Enforcement’s Awards Gala on Saturday, May 18, 2019. Located again this year at Trump National Doral, this will surely be another sold out event so make plans early.
The Dade County PBA’s Law Enforcement Awards Gala was the first of its kind in Miami-Dade County and it set the standard for honoring law enforcement.
This special evening is attended by approximately 1,000 guests, including law enforcement officers and their families, state and local government leaders, members of the judiciary and citizens from our community.
The event honors and pays tribute to the men and women across Miami-Dade County who daily pin on the badge and keep our families and community safe. The evening is also a time when we honor and remember law enforcement’s fallen heroes who have given their lives in the line of duty and stand in solidarity with the surviving families.
Proceeds from the Gala
benefit the Love Fund Inc., a federally recognized 501(c)(3) charitable organization established in 1984 to aid law enforcement officers and their families in times of need. The Fund assists families of officers killed or injured in the line of duty by filling a need other charities don’t.
