The South Florida PBA Law Enforcement Awards Gala was the first of its kind in the greater Miami-Dade County area. As such, it set the standard for honoring law enforcement in South Florida.

Created as a fun way to recognize the men and women of law enforcement, this elegant affair celebrates current officers, remembers those who have fallen and stands in solidarity with the surviving family members they left behind. Taking place each May, this special evening is a formal event that includes a sit-down dinner, an awards ceremony, live music and dancing. It is attended by approximately 1,000 guests, from law enforcement officers and their families, state officials and local government leaders, to members of the judiciary and residents of the South Florida community.

Proceeds from this event benefit the Love Fund, which assists officers and their families during times of need. The Love Fund is a 501(c)(3) charity. Donations are fully tax-deductible.
