About

As President of the South Florida PBA, Steadman Stahl leads all association operations, represents members, and serves as the public face of the organization. With over 30 years in law enforcement and nearly three decades of PBA involvement, he has been a powerful advocate for South Florida’s law enforcement community. Under his leadership, the South Florida PBA has grown to its largest and most inclusive membership, representing multiple Miami-Dade municipalities, Miami-Dade County Police Department, Miami-Dade Corrections & Rehabilitation, Animal Services, 911 Communications, and now the officers of Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and Key West Police Department.

President Stahl also serves on the Florida PBA Executive Board, the Police Officer Assistance Trust (POAT) Board, the 200 Club of Greater Miami, the Saint Thomas Ethical Leadership Advisory Board, and several other community boards. His achievements have been recognized with honors such as Public Administrator of the Year (Latin Builders Association, 2019), One of the 12 Good Men (Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida, 2021), and the Presidential Award from the League of Prosecutors.
