Official PBA Fishing Tournament Rules:

Tournament rules are based off of IGFA rules and regulations; IGFA rules and regulations can be found at: http://www.igfa.org/Fish/INTERNATIONAL-ANGLING-RULES.aspx.
• A team captain or representative must attend the Captains Meeting June 4th , 2026, 6:00PM. If the team Captain / representative is not at the meeting this may result in disqualification.
• Lines in the water at 6:00 AM on Saturday June 6, 2026.
• Weigh-in will begin at 1:00 PM and close at 4:00 PM on Saturday June 6, 2026. You must bring fish by boat or car to weigh in.
• Each team is required to have a VHS radio easily accessible on the vessel to communicate with the weighing committee on land. Please tune into the fishing tournament channel (will be given at captains meeting) and advise the weighing committee once your vessel is approaching for weigh in.
• Captains are advised to have video proof of catching fish in case it is requested by weighing committee.
• Fish must be intact with no evidence of spearing, bang-sticks, weight tampering, freezing, or other rules violations.
• It is the responsibility of the Angler to ensure that all foreign objects are removed from the fish. Such objects shall include, but are not limited to: hooks, leaders, ice, and weights. Hooks or bait that has passed through the mouth and into the gullet may be left in place. Any fish weighed by the tournament may be subject to a gut check after weighing at the discretion of the weighing committee.
• When you arrive at weigh in you must announce which Angler caught which fish.
• One fish may only qualify under one category.
• In case of a tie, first fish in and weighed wins its division.
• A Junior Angler is defined as someone who has not reached their 16th birthday at the end of tournament registration.
• Angler or Team member must be present to collect Prize and Trophy.
• Fishing license is required for each angler.
• Tournament will conform with all State and Federal Laws.
• All decisions by weighing committee are final.

2nd Place (Second Heaviest Mahi): $3,500

3rd Place (Third Heaviest Mahi): $1,500

Heaviest Dolphin by a PBA Member: $1,000

Female Angler Heaviest Mahi: $500

Best of Three (Thee Heaviest Mahi): $300

Fun Fish (Heaviest of any Fish Brought in): $100

Jr. Angler Heaviest Mahi: $100

Jr. Angler 2nd Heaviest Mahi: $50
